2006 - The Hiking Year in Pictures
2006 was a good year on the trail. I'd like to share with you some of my favorite photos taken during the year. In April 2006, American Hiking Society helped coordinate a field trip for a group of blind and visually impaired students to visit the Tennessee River Gorge. Here, a totally blind student discovers what a box turtle feels like.
